What do Magento 2 Marketing Extensions do, and what do they not do?

Magento 2 Marketing Extensions are extensions with which you plan offers, address visitors, collect reviews and reach customers again after a purchase. Magento provides a base for this: cart price rules, catalog price rules and a newsletter. What the standard lacks are the visible building blocks around them, such as a countdown, a popup or a loyalty account. The 18 modules of this category close exactly that gap.

The boundaries matter just as much. None of the modules creates demand out of nothing, and we do not promise higher revenue. Magento 2 Marketing Extensions supply tools: you decide which offer runs, which discount applies and whom you address when. With Magento 2 Marketing Extensions a weak offer does not get better with a countdown, and an unsuitable offer does not get better with a popup.

The Magento 2 Marketing Extensions fit five tasks: offers and discounts, popups and banners, reviews and social proof, email and follow-up, loyalty and referral. Two further Magento 2 Marketing Extensions assemble products in the shop automatically. We set up every module personally in your shop, the offer is aimed at businesses, and payment is by invoice or prepayment.

How do Magento 2 Marketing Extensions run time-limited offers?

Offers with an end date depend on the visitor seeing the end and the shop enforcing it on time. With Magento 2 Marketing Extensions, three modules share this work.

Mironsoft Countdown Timer (from EUR 129) shows days, hours, minutes and seconds until the offer ends. You store start and end once, after that the timer switches itself on and off. It appears beside the special price on the product page, on category pages and, via standard widget, on the home page, CMS pages and blocks. Several timers run independently side by side, and after expiry the shop shows a freely worded message or hides the timer completely. Optionally it can be tied to catalog price rules instead of fixed dates.

If a countdown should become a campaign, use Mironsoft Daily Deals (from EUR 229). Every deal gets its own offer price, a quantity limit and a countdown, managed in a dedicated admin grid. Once the stock is sold or the time is up, the regular price applies again. In the backend you see how many units are sold and how many remain. Deal boxes appear on product, category, cart and wishlist pages, and a collection page lists current, upcoming and past deals. Deals work for simple and configurable products.

The third building block is Mironsoft Discount Percentage (from EUR 79). It calculates the percentage from regular and special price and shows it as a badge, as "-20%", "20% off" or "You save 20%", as you prefer. You set rounding and a minimum threshold so that barely noticeable discounts get no badge. The display appears on the product page and in product lists.

How do you grant discounts without codes getting lost?

A coupon code often fails over small things: it is mistyped, forgotten or not found at checkout. Among the Magento 2 Marketing Extensions there are three ways around that.

The first is the link. Mironsoft Coupon Code Link (from EUR 79) generates a link for any existing cart price rule. Whoever clicks it lands in the cart or on a target page you chose, and the discount is already applied. You send the link by email straight from the admin or share it via buttons for Facebook, X, LinkedIn and WhatsApp. A counter per link shows how often it was opened. Validity comes from the underlying rule, and the checkout stays unchanged. The module carries the Magento 2.4.x badge but not Hyvä Ready.

The second way is the personal discount. Mironsoft Discount Per Customer (from EUR 149) stores a percentage directly in the customer account. As soon as the customer logs in, it applies automatically, without a code. It is visible on catalog pages, in the cart, at checkout, in the order confirmation and on the invoice. You can switch it on and off per customer, restrict it to categories, give it a start and end date and combine it with cart price rules. The label may contain a placeholder for the rate.

The third way is the coupon in return for something: Mironsoft Exit Popup (from EUR 149) creates the code only when the popup appears, and limits it by minimum order value and validity period. More on that in the popup chapter.

For all three ways the same applies: discounts from any of the Magento 2 Marketing Extensions reduce your margin. Calculate the offer beforehand and check which price rules may overlap.

Which Magento 2 Marketing Extensions fit which task?

The following overview sorts the Magento 2 Marketing Extensions by the problem you want to solve. The table further down then lists all modules with prices.

Offers and discounts

You are planning a sale with a fixed end. For this there are Mironsoft Countdown Timer, Mironsoft Daily Deals, Mironsoft Discount Percentage, Mironsoft Discount Per Customer and Mironsoft Coupon Code Link.

Popups and banners

You want to address visitors in a targeted way. Here Mironsoft Banner Slider, Mironsoft Popup Promotion, Mironsoft Newsletter Popup, Mironsoft Exit Popup and Mironsoft Header Notification do the work.

Reviews and social proof

You need credible voices on the page. Mironsoft Review Reminder, Mironsoft Review Incentives and Mironsoft Testimonials are made for that.

Email and follow-up

Customers should not drop out of sight after the purchase. Mironsoft Follow Up Email takes care of that with six automatic triggers.

Loyalty and referral

You want to reward regular customers and pay for recommendations. Mironsoft Loyalty Points and Mironsoft Reward & Referral Bundle help here.

Show products automatically

You want to make the range visible without maintaining lists. Mironsoft Who Bought This Also Bought and Mironsoft Product Collection work rule-based and data-based.

The grouping of these Magento 2 Marketing Extensions is an orientation, not an obligation. In practice several modules run side by side, for example a countdown together with a popup and a coupon link.

How do you use popups and banners without driving visitors away?

A popup interrupts the visit, so with Magento 2 Marketing Extensions timing, frequency and target group matter. All popup modules in this category offer settings for exactly that.

Mironsoft Exit Popup reacts to exit intent: it detects the mouse moving toward closing the browser or a tab switch and only then shows its offer. The coupon is a fixed amount or a percentage, with minimum order value and validity, alternatively there is free shipping. You can show the popup only to certain customer groups, for example guests, and follow the use of the generated coupon. A newsletter signup directly in the popup is optional. The module costs from EUR 149.

Mironsoft Newsletter Popup collects newsletter addresses. You choose between page load, scroll depth and a delay in seconds, and a cookie-based repeat lock, set from days down to seconds, prevents the same visitor from seeing the window all the time. You create templates in the backend, signup runs via AJAX without a reload, and the module emails you about every new signup. A discount for subscribing is possible but not required.

Mironsoft Popup Promotion (from EUR 119) is meant for offers with image and text. Several campaigns run in parallel in the admin grid, each with its own link target, layout, position and auto-close timer. You control display and frequency by page and customer group, so existing customers see a different offer than new visitors.

For fixed areas there are two modules. Mironsoft Banner Slider (from EUR 179) creates any number of sliders and places them by widget or shortcode on the home page, CMS pages, categories and product pages. The slider runs on Alpine.js without external JavaScript, and slides can be scheduled. Mironsoft Header Notification (from EUR 99) is deliberately plain: a notification bar above the header that you switch on and off without a deployment and word differently per store view.

A note on consent: if you collect email addresses by popup or give coupons for signing up, have the wording and the process checked legally beforehand. This is a pointer, not legal advice. Required notices and consent texts are covered by the legal category.

How do Magento 2 Marketing Extensions collect reviews and show social proof?

Reviews rarely appear on their own. Three of the Magento 2 Marketing Extensions take care of the chain from request to display.

It starts with Mironsoft Review Reminder (from EUR 179). After a delay you set, an email goes to the customer. As trigger you choose the order status, for example "shipped". Products the customer has already reviewed are not asked about again, and a second reminder is optional. In the backend grid you see planned, sent and excluded reminders, you can open the preview, send manually or delete. During setup, past orders can be captured manually.

An incentive comes from Mironsoft Review Incentives (from EUR 199): every published review earns a coupon of a freely chosen value. It is only unlocked once the review is live, and it applies once per order. You exclude products or categories, set customer groups, choose between manual and automatic moderation and evaluate the output in the reporting dashboard. The module carries the Magento 2.4.x badge without Hyvä Ready. The reminder also knows an optional discount code, so decide which of the two modules handles the incentive.

Mironsoft Testimonials (from EUR 149) makes the voices visible. Customers submit name, photo, company, stars and text, even without an account. Every submission waits for your approval, and a captcha keeps automated spam out. Display runs as a full list or a rotating sidebar widget, and existing product reviews can be converted into testimonials.

Whether and how you may reward reviews should be checked legally by the operator. This is not legal advice, pointers are collected in the legal category. One more thing matters: the module only publishes what customers write. It cannot guarantee good reviews.

How do Magento 2 Marketing Extensions keep in touch after the purchase?

Most advertising happens before the purchase. Follow-up afterwards is easily forgotten. Among the Magento 2 Marketing Extensions, Mironsoft Follow Up Email (from EUR 249) fills this gap with six triggers: a thank-you email after the purchase, cross-sell suggestions a few days later, a birthday greeting, a welcome email on registration, reactivation of inactive customers and newsletter reactivation. On top comes an order status follow-up, for example on shipping or payment failure.

Each trigger has a delay in days, a time of day and its own template, also per language. Sending runs by cron in the background. On paper this is marketing automation, in practice it is a handful of well-timed emails that nobody has to trigger by hand any more.

A peculiarity: the module deliberately does not cover everything. According to the product description, cart reminders are handled by a separate abandoned cart module and review requests by the Review Reminder. An exclusion list prevents the same customer from getting two emails for the same occasion. The abandoned cart module is not part of this category, so agree on the coordination with us before the start. The follow-up module carries the Magento 2.4.x badge without Hyvä Ready, it works in the background.

Anyone sending emails to customers should have occasion, content and consent checked legally. This is a pointer, not legal advice, matching modules sit under legal.

How do loyalty points and a referral program work?

Two of the Magento 2 Marketing Extensions tie regular customers to the shop. They differ in scope, and the choice depends on whether you want to pay for recommendations.

Mironsoft Loyalty Points (from EUR 299) awards points for purchases, reviews, registration and birthdays. Rules can be narrowed by amount, category, product, minimum order value or customer group. When redeeming, the customer converts points into a discount coupon at a rate you define. An expiry period with advance notification, a CSV assignment for many customers at once and an overview in the customer account are included. VIP tiers for frequent buyers are optional. The badge reads Magento 2.4.x, without Hyvä Ready.

Mironsoft Reward & Referral Bundle (from EUR 449) joins points and referral. Every customer gets a personal referral link with a tracking cookie. When the referred person registers or orders, the referrer receives points in the same account, optionally plus a classic commission as credit or coupon with admin approval. Purchase and referral points share one history, VIP tiers apply to both sides, and a GraphQL and REST interface connects headless setups. According to the product page, the bundle complements the standalone Loyalty Points and Affiliate & Referral modules.

If you only want to award points for purchases, you do not need the bundle. Among the Magento 2 Marketing Extensions it is the widest package. It pays off when referrals should be a real channel. Programs like this tie up budget: set conversion rate and expiry so that the numbers work for you.

How do Magento 2 Marketing Extensions support recommendations in the range?

Additional purchases happen when the customer sees the fitting product at the right time. Two of the Magento 2 Marketing Extensions deliver suggestions that stay current without manual work.

Mironsoft Who Bought This Also Bought (from EUR 149) evaluates real order items and shows products that other customers also bought. Display is set separately for product page and cart page, above or below each. You define the number of suggestions, limit the data period, for example to twelve months, and exclude products or categories. Every new order flows in automatically, and the suggestions apply per store view.

Mironsoft Product Collection (from EUR 299) curates collections by rules, for example category, price, "is new" or special price. New matching products appear on their own, sold-out ones disappear. A live preview shows the matches while editing, manually chosen products are possible too. Output as slider or grid runs on Alpine.js, placement is by widget in CMS pages, blocks or product descriptions.

You complement the display on the article page with modules from the product page category, and the placement in the cart with checkout and cart.

Which of the Magento 2 Marketing Extensions you need first depends on the bottleneck: if visitors are missing, it is popups and banners, if reviews are missing, the review modules, if repeat purchases are missing, the loyalty and email modules. More areas are in the overview of Magento 2 extensions.

Which everyday tasks do Magento 2 Marketing Extensions solve in a shop?

Four typical situations show how modules work together. The examples are thought models, not guaranteed results.

Sale with a fixed end

A summer offer runs from 1 to 31 July. With Mironsoft Countdown Timer you store these dates, Mironsoft Discount Percentage shows the discount in percent, a banner in Mironsoft Banner Slider leads to the category, and the bar from Mironsoft Header Notification names the end of the offer. After the deadline the time-controlled modules tidy up on their own.

Winning new customers

Visitors do not buy the first time. Mironsoft Newsletter Popup asks for the newsletter address, Mironsoft Exit Popup makes an offer when they leave, and Mironsoft Follow Up Email sends a welcome email. The newsletter discount and the exit coupon should not double up, so plan the order.

Raising the basket value

Visibility of additional items helps here. Mironsoft Who Bought This Also Bought shows combinations from real orders, Mironsoft Product Collection assembles bestsellers or sale items, and Mironsoft Daily Deals gives a reason to buy now with its quantity limit. Whether the basket really grows only your figures will show.

Collecting reviews

Mironsoft Review Reminder asks after delivery, Mironsoft Review Incentives rewards published reviews, and Mironsoft Testimonials shows selected voices on the home page. Choose just one incentive, otherwise customers receive two coupons for the same occasion.

How do Magento 2 Marketing Extensions work together with checkout, product page, customers, tracking and SEO?

Marketing never runs alone in a shop. Magento 2 Marketing Extensions touch almost every other function group, so a look at the interfaces pays off.

On checkout: discounts, points and coupons end up in the cart and must appear understandably there. The coupon link and the customer discount access price rules, so before the start you should test at checkout which rules apply together. Complementary modules are in the checkout and cart category.

On the product page: countdown, deal box, discount badge and recommendations sit right at the product. How much room remains above the buy button decides how clear the page stays. More building blocks are under product page.

On customers: customer discount, loyalty points, testimonials and follow-up emails build on customer accounts. Anyone who maintains registration, account dashboard and groups cleanly gets more out of these modules, see customers and account.

On tracking: whether an offer works is told by your measurement, not by the module. The coupon link statistics, the Review Incentives dashboard and the coupon report of the Exit Popup supply partial figures. The overall picture belongs in a web analytics setup, modules for that are under tracking and social.

On SEO: popups and sliders are content that search engines weigh differently from normal text. Banners do not replace headings and descriptions. More in SEO and content and in the guide to Magento SEO.

How do Magento 2 Marketing Extensions affect load time, Core Web Vitals and user guidance?

Every visible element costs something: bytes, computing time and attention. That applies to Magento 2 Marketing Extensions as well. In general, popups that jump up on load can cause layout shifts, and large banners load images. How strongly this affects your shop depends on theme, hosting and configuration, and we make no blanket statements about it.

The product pages note technology that keeps the load small: the Banner Slider and the Product Collection work with Alpine.js without external JavaScript, the discount badge calculates in the template without an extra database query. Still, measure before and after use. Background comes from the pages on performance optimization and Core Web Vitals, modules for speed are under performance and security.

For user guidance of your Magento 2 Marketing Extensions a simple rule helps: at most one window per page view that covers the content. The repeat locks and delays of the popup modules exist for this. On mobile devices popups feel stronger than on desktop, so check the close button and size on a smartphone.

What can a countdown do, and what can it not do?

Mironsoft Countdown Timer shows a real end of an offer. It is not a means of pressure for invented deadlines.

The timer hangs on stored start and end dates and ends itself. That is its advantage: it only shows what really applies. A countdown that starts over after expiry misleads customers about how long the offer lasts. Have the operator check your offers legally for that reason.

A quantity limit from the daily deals module should also match reality: if only 100 units are available at the offer price, the counter shows exactly that number. This is not legal advice, for price information and offers read the legal category.

What do you check before buying Magento 2 Marketing Extensions?

Before every choice among the Magento 2 Marketing Extensions, seven questions help. They save follow-up queries and wrong purchases.

  • What is the goal of the measure?

More newsletter addresses, more reviews or more repeat purchases call for different modules. Without a goal, success cannot be checked.

  • Which modules carry the Hyvä Ready badge?

Coupon Code Link, Loyalty Points, Follow Up Email, Review Incentives, Review Reminder and the Reward & Referral Bundle carry only the Magento 2.4.x badge. We clarify the display beforehand.

  • Which price rules already exist?

Offer prices, customer discount, coupons and points can collide. Decide which combination is allowed before you activate modules.

  • Who maintains texts, images and dates?

Most modules are admin-controlled, but content and schedules remain your job.

  • How do you avoid double contact?

Newsletter popup, exit popup, follow-up email and Review Reminder reach the same people. Plan gaps and exclusions.

  • Are texts and consents checked?

Newsletter signup, coupons for reviews and deadlines should be clarified legally by the operator. This is not legal advice.

  • How do you measure the result?

Set key figures in advance and compare periods. The module supplies partial figures, not the whole evaluation.

We give an independent second opinion on the choice of Magento 2 Marketing Extensions on request. For bespoke work that no module covers, we examine a custom extension. The overall appearance of your shop is covered in the Magento web shop area.

Frequently asked questions about marketing modules

What are Magento 2 marketing extensions?

They are extensions for offers, discounts, popups, banners, reviews, emails and loyalty programs. In this category you find 18 modules from Mironsoft.

Which modules suit a time-limited offer?

The Countdown Timer for the end of the offer, Daily Deals for an offer price with a quantity limit, Discount Percentage for the percentage display and the Banner Slider with an offer schedule.

How does the discount code as a link work?

Coupon Code Link generates a link for an existing cart price rule. Whoever clicks it has the discount already applied in the cart. A counter shows how often the link was opened.

Can I show popups only to certain visitors?

Yes. The Exit Popup and Popup Promotion can be controlled by customer group, Popup Promotion additionally by page. Repeat locks and delays avoid constant interruption.

Are popups bad for Core Web Vitals?

That cannot be said across the board. Windows that jump up can trigger layout shifts, and the effect depends on theme and configuration. Measure before and after use.

How do I collect more product reviews?

Review Reminder asks by email after a delay, Review Incentives rewards published reviews with a coupon. Testimonials shows selected voices in the shop. There is no guarantee of reviews.

May customers get a coupon for a review?

The operator should have this checked legally, we do not give legal advice. Pointers are collected in the legal category.

Do the modules work with Hyvä?

Most carry the Hyvä Ready badge. Coupon Code Link, Loyalty Points, Follow Up Email, Review Incentives, Review Reminder and the Reward & Referral Bundle carry only the Magento 2.4.x badge. We clarify the fit before setup.

Do I need the Reward & Referral Bundle or is Loyalty Points enough?

Loyalty Points is enough if you only award points for purchases, reviews, registration and birthdays. The bundle pays off if referrals should also be rewarded in the same account.

Do I get the modules as a download?

No. Mironsoft sets up every module personally in your shop. The offer is aimed at businesses, payment is by invoice or prepayment.
