Exceptions override the weekly schedule for a single day or a date range. You enter company vacations, stocktaking, shopping Sundays or bridge days and, if needed, add a message for customers. You create holidays manually; which days apply in your region is for you to verify. Expired exceptions are not removed automatically on save, they remain visible as history.

An Alpine.js element shows the current status next to the hours: open now, closing soon, closed or opens tomorrow at 08:00. The calculation uses the location time zone, not the visitor time zone. The page stays full-page-cache friendly because only the status element calculates in the browser. Without JavaScript, visitors still see the complete hours table.
