White-Label Magento for Agencies: Magento Technology in the Background, Client and Margin Stay with You

WHITE-LABEL MAGENTOFor web, SEO and marketing agencies without a Magento team

A Magento project request but no Magento team? I deliver the technology in the background.

White-label Magento for agencies means: you keep the client, the communication and the margin. I am Oksana Mironjuk, and with my team of fixed freelancers I build Magento 2, Hyvä and integrations in your repository, according to your process and, if you wish, under NDA.

It is an ordinary Tuesday, and a client of your agency asks: can you also build us a larger shop with Magento? The request is good. It comes from a client you know, the budget is there, and you would actually like to say yes. But nobody on your team really knows Magento, and a project that goes wrong would fall back on your whole brand.

That is exactly the situation white-label Magento for agencies is made for. I take over the Magento technology in the background, and you remain the contact for your client. This page explains what that looks like, what it costs and where the limits are. If you would rather get in touch right away, you will find the form on the page Partners and cooperation.

01

When a Magento request becomes a problem for an agency

Most web, SEO and marketing agencies work with WordPress, TYPO3, Shopware, Shopify or WooCommerce. Magento is a different system. It is more powerful but also considerably more demanding: extensions have to be built cleanly, updates require experience, and errors in the core or in interfaces can bring a running shop to a halt. Anyone who does not work with it every day easily underestimates the effort.

For agencies this is a dilemma. Saying no costs revenue and sometimes the trust of a good client. Saying yes without capacity costs nerves and, in the worst case, reputation. Hiring your own Magento developer takes months and does not pay off for single projects. This is the gap where I work with white-label Magento for agencies: as a technical partner who steps in when needed and costs nothing otherwise.

The model of white-label Magento is deliberately simple. You decide whether a single module, a Hyvä frontend, a migration or the whole project lies with me. You keep the relationship with the client and the decision about what gets built. I make sure it is implemented cleanly, quickly and maintainably.

02

What white-label Magento means in practice with me

The term is often used loosely. So here is, without detours, what you can expect from white-label Magento and what I commit to.

Your client stays your client

I do not contact your client and do not poach anything. Communication, quotes and invoices to the end client go through you.

Invisible on request

If you wish, I do not appear in front of your client. We put that in writing in a short NDA.

Your tools, your process

I work in your Git repository and your ticket system, for example Jira, Trello, Asana, ClickUp, GitHub Issues or GitLab. You do not have to change anything.

You always have access

Source code, access and documentation are with you. You are never dependent on me, because you hold everything.

That is the difference from a referral where the third party eventually talks directly to the client. With white-label Magento for agencies the client relationship stays protected because it is not part of my business.

04

Typical projects: four cases in which white-label Magento relieves agencies

Four typical cases show which tasks come up most often with white-label Magento. The first is the relaunch of an existing client: your agency has looked after the website for years, and the client now wants a shop with a large range and a connection to merchandise management. I take over Magento, the Hyvä frontend and the interface, you keep concept, design and the conversation with the client.

The second case is the switch of an existing Magento shop from Luma to Hyvä. You have the design but not the developers for the frontend. Here too the project stays with you, I deliver the implementation, and in the end the shop runs noticeably faster. The third case is a shop you look after that stands out during updates: a Magento update fails, a module causes problems or the version is outdated. Instead of your team having to get up to speed, I take over analysis and repair.

The fourth case is the move from another system. A client comes from Shopify, WooCommerce or Shopware and wants to take products, customers and orders along without losing search rankings. That is a core topic in white-label Magento because data, redirects and search engine optimisation have to work together. More on the approach is on the page about Magento migration.

05

How white-label Magento collaboration works in five steps

I keep the start of white-label Magento deliberately short so that you know within a few days whether we fit together.

01

Short call

You describe project, deadline and budget range. In 20 minutes we clarify whether and how I can help. The call is free.

02

Estimate

You receive a written effort estimate. For clearly defined packages, a fixed price as well.

03

Implementation

I work in your tools, give regular status updates and report risks early.

04

Quality assurance

Code review, tests in staging, documentation. Only then does anything go live.

05

Handover

You receive code, access and instructions that let your team or somebody else continue.

If you already have a concrete project in mind, a short message with the key facts is enough. We clarify the rest in the call.

06

Start small: how to test white-label Magento without risk

With white-label Magento you do not have to hand over a whole project right away. Many agencies begin with a small step and decide afterwards.

  • Technical quick check

I look at an existing shop and tell you where risks and effort lie before you commit to anything.

  • A single module

A clearly defined function you do not want to build yourself, for example an interface or a checkout field.

  • A frontend part

A category page, a product page or a checkout step in Hyvä, so you can judge the quality of the code yourself.

  • Maintenance for one client

A single shop is looked after with updates and monitoring. The package can be cancelled monthly.

  • Stepping in at bottlenecks

Illness, holidays or a project peak: I relieve your team for a limited period.

  • Second opinion

A review of a quote, an architecture or code, without having to award a project.

That way you get to know my way of working before a large project depends on it. Whether more comes of it is your decision.

Do you have a Magento request on your desk?

Send me a short note on what it is about. I reply within 24 hours and tell you honestly whether and how I can help.

Taking over projects that another agency has started

Not every Magento project starts from zero. Sometimes the previous developer has left, half the budget is used up and the client is waiting. White-label Magento for agencies is made for this too: I take over a project already started, but only after a technical check. I look at code quality, choice of modules, update capability and whether it makes sense to continue or whether a part should be rebuilt.

The result is an honest assessment that you can pass on to your client. Sometimes it says: this can be rescued, and here is how it continues. Sometimes: there is too much legacy here, we should replace parts. I tell you both, even if the second answer is uncomfortable, because only then can you plan reliably with your client.

For running shops, a takeover also includes a look at security and maintenance state. What that looks like is described on the pages about code audit and about shop repair and emergency support. You can use both as an agency for your clients as well, without having to go into the code yourself.

08

Prices for white-label Magento: how you calculate with me

My hourly rate for white-label Magento is €30 net. I state it openly because it makes your calculation easier: you bill the client at your own rate and keep the difference as margin.

ModelHow it is billedSuited for
Hourly basis€30 net per hour, tracked to the minuteProjects with unclear scope, stepping in at bottlenecks
Fixed priceA fixed price for a clearly defined package, in writing beforehandModules, interfaces, single pages, migrations with known scope
MaintenanceMonthly flat fee, from €89, cancellable monthlyShops you look after permanently
Hour allowanceAgreed hours per month at a fixed rateAgencies with regular Magento demand

Important for your calculation: the €30 is the hourly rate for development, consulting, maintenance and support. There is no emergency surcharge. Not included, where applicable, are third-party licences, fees for external interfaces or hosting. I state these in advance. An overview of all models is on the pricing page, individual projects under custom quote.

09

Maintenance packages you resell as an agency with your own margin

An agency lives not only on projects but on recurring business. A Magento shop constantly needs updates, security patches and supervision. You can offer this business with white-label Magento without having to perform Magento maintenance yourself.

PackagePriceServicesResponse
Basicfrom €89 per monthSecurity patches, core updates, uptime monitoring, 1 hour of support48 hours on working days
Businessfrom €249 per monthEverything in Basic, performance monitoring, Core Web Vitals, 3 hours of support, monthly report24 hours on working days
Enterpriseon requestIndividual allowance, agreement as needed, emergency availability possibleindividual

All packages can be cancelled monthly, with no minimum term and no setup fee. I bill additional hours at the same rate. You can sell the packages under your own name and with your own markup to your clients. Details on services and response times are on the page maintenance packages.

10

How I secure quality and hand over cleanly

With white-label Magento every error falls back on you. That is why quality assurance and handover are a fixed part of the process.

  • Magento standards

The code follows the standards of the system. I avoid changes to the core so that updates do not become a danger.

  • Code review

Every change is reviewed before it is delivered. If you like, together with your team.

  • Staging and tests

New features run in a test environment first. Only after acceptance does anything go into the live shop.

  • Documentation

You receive understandable notes on structure, configuration and special features so nobody has to guess.

  • Performance in view

Hyvä, Tailwind and clean loading sequences are the normal case, not an extra.

  • Open access

Repository, server and configuration are in your hands. There is no dependence on my account.

If you would like to know more about the technical side, the pages on Hyvä and on performance have the details.

11

What day-to-day collaboration looks like in white-label Magento

A good project rarely fails because of code, but because of coordination. That is why communication in white-label Magento is clearly regulated. You receive a short status report at regular intervals that says what is done, what comes next and where there are risks. I answer questions promptly, and when I come across something that needs your decision, I report it early and not just before delivery.

We talk by video call or phone, in German or English. I track time to the minute and present it with a performance report so that you can bill your client cleanly. Change requests that go beyond the agreed scope I name explicitly as additional effort and start them only after your approval.

When something goes wrong, I say so immediately. That is part of a reliable white-label Magento partner: rather an uncomfortable message on Tuesday than a nasty surprise on Friday. That way you can appear honest and prepared in front of your client at any time.

12

NDA, data protection and responsibility in white-label Magento

Discretion in white-label Magento is not a phrase but part of the collaboration. On request I sign a confidentiality agreement before you give me access or project details. You decide whether and how I am visible to your client.

As soon as I get access to personal data in a shop, such as customer accounts or orders, we need an agreement on data processing. We clarify that before the start so that you are legally well positioned towards your client. I only work with the access needed for the task and secure it after the project.

The same applies to responsibility and warranty: we put it in writing before it becomes relevant. The exact design depends on the project and the contract chain. I do not give legal advice and recommend that you align the agreement with your own legal counsel if your client has special requirements.

13

Also for Magento agencies: overflow and specialist knowledge

White-label Magento for agencies is not only aimed at agencies without Magento experience. Magento agencies also have phases in which too many projects run at once. When a launch is coming up, an employee drops out or a specialist topic is missing, I take over individual parts: a Hyvä frontend, an interface, a module or a code review.

The tone is the one between colleagues. You keep your processes, and I deliver back in your structure. There is no minimum order, no contact with your client and no obligation for the future. Many agencies use it as a safety net: they know they can call someone when things get tight.

If you would also like an outside view, there are the pages for Magento freelancers and Magento developers. They describe how I work as an individual developer in a project when you do not need an agency in the background.

14

What you do not get from me and how it stands with references

An honest collaboration in white-label Magento includes naming the limits. I am not a large agency with a hundred employees. You get a fixed contact and a team of fixed freelancers. That means closeness and short paths, but also that I cannot take on every project at every time. That is why I tell you early whether and when I have capacity instead of promising something I cannot keep.

I am not a price breaker and not a cheap solution. A rate of €30 per hour is not a bait offer but the basis on which you can calculate cleanly. And I am not the right partner for projects without clear goals or for pure site-builder shops where Magento is not the right platform. I say that openly as well.

On references: I am currently moving several shops to Hyvä. Because I often work in the background under white-label, I cannot name clients without their consent. On request I show you a technical excerpt of my work, such as sample code or the structure of a module, and answer your questions in the call. More about my background is on the page About us.

Let us build Magento projects together

With white-label Magento you keep the client and the margin, I deliver the Magento technology in the background. You do not have to decide anything today: even if no project is pending, you can save this page. The next Magento request is sure to come.

Frequently asked questions about white-label Magento for agencies

Do you really work as a white-label partner?

Yes. On request I do not name myself to your client, do not communicate with them directly and work under NDA. You remain the contact and keep the client relationship.

Can you work in our project management tool?

Yes, for example in Jira, Trello, Asana, ClickUp, GitHub Issues or GitLab. You do not have to change your process.

Do you take over projects that another agency has started?

Yes. First I do a technical check so that code quality, risks and realistic effort are clear. Then you decide whether and how we continue.

How quickly can you start?

That depends on my current workload. I reply to enquiries within 24 hours. For urgent projects I check short-term capacity and tell you openly.

Is the €30 hourly rate really the final price?

Yes, as the basis for development, consulting, maintenance and support, without an emergency surcharge. Third-party licences, fees for external interfaces and hosting may be extra and are stated in advance.

How is billing done?

Depending on the project by the hour, as a fixed price for clearly defined packages or as a monthly flat fee for maintenance. I document maintenance work with a performance report.

What happens if you are unavailable?

Source code, access and documentation are with you, and my team of fixed freelancers can step in. A project does not hang on my account.

Can I start small?

Yes, and I often recommend it. A technical quick check, a single module or a frontend part show you my way of working without you having to award a whole project.

Is there a minimum order or contract commitment?

No. Maintenance packages can be cancelled monthly, and for projects there is no minimum order. You pay for what is delivered.

Who am I not the right partner for?

For projects without a clear goal, for pure site-builder shops and for undertakings that need a large team in one day. If I do not fit, I will tell you in the first call.
