01Earning & redeeming

Multiple ways to earn points — one way to redeem them

Customers automatically earn points on purchases, product reviews, registration and their birthday. On their next order, accumulated points can be converted into a discount voucher at a freely defined rate.

  • Earning rules combinable: category, minimum order value, customer group
  • Conversion rate freely defined, e.g. 100 points = 5 EUR
  • Redemption directly at checkout, no extra form

Frequent buyers deserve more than just points

Optionally, customer tiers (e.g. Silver/Gold/Platinum) can be set up based on points earned per year, with higher earning rates per tier. Many comparable off-the-shelf solutions don't include this, turning the loyalty program into a genuine retention tool instead of a plain discount mechanism.

Loyalty Points is not listed here as a ready-made file for self-installation. The purchase is a service commission: after your purchase we contact you, discuss your desired earning rules and conversion rates, and set up the module in your shop accordingly.

How do we decide how many points a purchase earns?
We agree on this together during setup — typically a fixed point rate per euro spent, optionally varying by category or customer group.
Can points expire?
Yes, optionally. You set a validity period, and the customer is notified by email before points expire.
Is the VIP tier system mandatory?
No, it is fully optional. The loyalty program also works without tiers, using a single earning rate for all customers.
Can existing customers receive points retroactively?
Yes, via CSV upload points can be granted retroactively to selected or all existing customers, e.g. as a welcome gift when launching the program.
Can points be combined with other discounts?
We define this together during setup — technically both are possible, but a combination rule is common so discounts don't stack uncontrollably.
Can the customer see their points balance in their own account?
Yes, the customer account has a dedicated section with the current points balance, history and past voucher redemptions.
Does the program work with multiple store views?
Yes, configuration is store-view capable, so different rules or texts per language/store are possible.
Can I download and install this module myself?
No. This is not a download product. After purchase, we personally install and configure the module in your shop.
