Checkout Comment Field
A free-text field for special requests, right in the checkout, no detour through email or phone.
Optional, Never Required
The field never blocks checkout. Customers who have nothing to add simply leave it blank.
Configurable Character Length
Set the maximum character count in the backend to match your order workflow.
Custom Field Title
Label the field the way your customers expect it, e.g. "Order note" instead of a generic default.
Visible in the Sales Grid
A dedicated grid column shows at a glance which order has a comment attached.
Full Text in the Order View
The complete comment text appears in the individual order view, not just truncated in the grid.

The comment is automatically included in the order confirmation email, visible to both the customer and your team.

An on/off switch controls whether the comment also appears in the "My Orders" section.

The customer types the comment exactly once, at checkout. From there it automatically appears in the four places your team and the customer need to see it: the sales order grid for a quick overview, the individual order view in full, the order confirmation email, and the PDF printout of the order.

Not a download — personal setup instead
Order Comments is not listed here as a ready-made download file for self-installation. The purchase is a service engagement: we get in touch after your purchase, install the module in your shop, agree on the field title and character limit with you, and personally set up the display in the grid, order view, PDF and email.
Your purchase does not include a download link or an installation file. Completing the order triggers personal setup by Mironsoft; self-installation is not offered with this product. We will contact you within 2 business days after payment is received. This offer is exclusively for business customers under German law (§ 14 BGB, commercial or self-employed use).
