Magento 2 Quantity Increments: sell items in whole packs only
With the Magento 2 Quantity Increments from Mironsoft you sell items only in the amounts in which they are really packed: only in packs of six, in cartons of ten or on a pallet. The increment applies per product, optionally per category and customer group. The quantity field jumps in whole steps with plus and minus, invalid amounts are explained and, if you wish, rounded up. The interface runs with Alpine.js in the Hyvä theme without an additional library.

For each item you decide in which steps it is ordered, for example 6, 12 or 25 pieces.

The buttons at the quantity field jump by the increment instead of by one.
Round up instead of reject
If the customer enters 7 instead of 6 or 12, the module suggests the next whole pack.

In a range of thousands of items you maintain only the exceptions while the rule for whole product groups needs a single entry.

Magento 2 Quantity Increments with hint text and rounding up
The standard message for an invalid amount explains nothing to the customer. The module shows a text such as "available in packs of 6 only" at the quantity field and suggests the next whole pack after a wrong entry. If you like, wrong amounts are rounded up automatically. The texts contain placeholders for increment and product name and are translatable per store view.

Validation in cart, checkout and API orders
The increment applies not only on the product page. The cart, the checkout and orders placed through the API are also checked on the server. If a quantity is changed in the cart, it jumps in whole packs. This protects against circumvention by manipulated requests and ensures that your warehouse never has to pick half packs.

How Magento 2 Quantity Increments differs from minimum and maximum quantity
Magento 2 Quantity Increments defines the steps in which ordering happens. A lower and upper limit per order is set by the Min Max Quantity per Product module instead, and a minimum order value of the cart belongs in a module of its own. Both rules can be combined: at least ten packs, but only in steps of six, is a common constellation.
