Magento 2 Job Board: career page, application and Google for Jobs in one module
With the Magento 2 job board from Mironsoft you publish open positions right inside your shop. Every posting gets its own page, an application form with CV upload and structured data for job search. You manage incoming applications in the admin with status and notes. The interface runs on Alpine.js in the Hyvä theme without an extra library.
Postings with all details
Title, description, location, employment type, salary range and deadline per posting.
JobPosting markup
Structured data following schema.org, suitable for Google for Jobs.
Application form
Fields, mandatory data and file upload for CV and cover letter.
Application status
New, under review, interview, rejected or offered, with internal notes.
Notifications
Email to HR on a new application, confirmation of receipt to the applicant.
Automatic deadlines
Expired postings are hidden, applications deleted after your retention period.
Why a Magento 2 job board inside your own shop makes sense
Many merchants are hiring and already have visitors who know the brand. Instead of a loose PDF in the footer they want a career page with real job postings. They search for a Magento 2 job board, a Magento 2 career page or Magento 2 job postings. With CMS pages the application form, status management and structured data for job search are missing.
A job board in the shop saves portal fees, bundles applications in one place and makes your positions readable for search engines. The applicant stays within your brand and applies in a few steps, also from a smartphone.
Creating a Magento 2 job board entry: from draft to publication
In the admin you maintain each position with title, task description in the WYSIWYG editor, requirements, location, employment type such as full-time, part-time or mini job, an optional salary range and application deadline. Remote positions can be flagged. Drafts stay invisible, after the deadline the posting disappears from the overview automatically.
- Employment type, location and remote flag
- Salary range optional, deadline with automatic hiding
- Draft, active and expired as status
Magento 2 job board with JobPosting schema for job search
Each active position outputs JSON-LD of type JobPosting: title, description, date posted, validity, employment type, employer, location and, if maintained, salary. The validThrough field follows the application deadline. Whether and when Google shows a position in job search is up to the provider; the module supplies the complete technical markup and adds the positions to the XML sitemap.
- JobPosting with employer, location and validity
- Salary only if you maintain it
- Inclusion in the XML sitemap
Application form for your Magento 2 job board
On every position page the form opens with name, email, phone, message and file upload. You set allowed file types and the maximum size. Consent to data processing is a mandatory field, its text is maintained per store view. Spam is caught by a honeypot field. Uploaded documents are not in the public area but retrievable through the admin only.
- Upload for CV and cover letter with type and size limit
- Consent as mandatory field, text per store view
- Documents not public, available in the admin only
Managing applications: status, notes and retention periods
All applications appear in the admin in a grid with filters for position, status and date. You set the status, add internal notes and download the documents. Applicants receive a confirmation of receipt, optionally also emails on status change. A cron job deletes applications after the period you set. Which period is legally suitable is for you to check as the controller.
- Grid with filters for position, status and date
- Internal notes, email on status change optional
- Retention period adjustable by cron
Where a Magento 2 job board saves time in daily work
Typical situations in which a Magento 2 job board with its own career page pays off.
Growing online retailer
Warehouse, customer service and marketing need reinforcement. The positions are in the shop with a filter by department.
Retailer with several sites
Each posting names its location, applicants filter by place and see only matching positions.
Trades and production
Apprenticeships and mini jobs are labelled with employment type and found in a targeted way.
Employer branding
The career page presents the brand consistently and needs no external portal with its own design.
Magento 2 job board: with and without the module compared
How a Magento 2 job board differs from a PDF file or a loose CMS page.
| Topic | Without module | With Mironsoft Job Board |
|---|---|---|
| Publication | PDF or CMS page by hand | Positions with status, deadline and overview |
| Search engines | No JobPosting markup | JobPosting schema and sitemap |
| Application | Email to one address, attachments scattered | Form with upload and central grid |
| Follow-up | Inbox as filing system | Status and notes in the admin |
| Data protection | No retention periods | Consent and deletion by cron |

Scope compared to the contact form and the custom form module
The contact form takes general messages, the custom form module collects arbitrary input. The Magento 2 job board instead is built around positions: with deadlines, JobPosting markup, application status and retention periods.
Data protection and storage of applicant data are assessed by the shop owner; the module provides a consent field, protected document storage and a deletion function.
No download, but personal setup
The Job Board is not listed here as a ready-made download file for self-installation. The purchase is an order for a service: we get in touch after the purchase, install the module in your shop and agree form, emails and retention periods together with you.
