In the admin you maintain a list of blocked days. Weekdays are blocked in bulk, holidays are entered as dates, optionally recurring every year. Company holidays or stocktaking days are created as a period. The list can apply to all shipping methods or only to some, for example when the parcel service delivers on Saturdays and the freight carrier does not.

Someone ordering at 5 pm cannot expect next-day delivery if your warehouse closes at 2 pm. With the cut-off time, a later order counts only from the next working day. The lead time states how many working days must lie between order and delivery. You can also limit how far ahead bookings may be made, for example 30 days.
