Magento 2 Supplier Portal: your suppliers work directly inside your shop system
With the Magento 2 supplier portal from Mironsoft, your suppliers get their own protected area in the shop. They see only the order items assigned to them, report tracking numbers back and maintain their own stock levels. Your team no longer sends lists by email or retypes replies. The Magento 2 Supplier Portal runs in the Hyvä theme with Alpine.js, needs no extra library and keeps supplier access cleanly apart from the customer account and the admin backend.
Own login
Suppliers sign in with their own credentials and land in a separate portal area.
Assigned orders
Each supplier sees only the items of their own products, never customer data they do not need.
Report tracking
Carrier and tracking number are entered in the portal and written to the order.
Maintain stock
Update the available quantity per product by form or CSV upload, with validation before saving.
Mail on new order
The supplier is notified automatically as soon as an item for them comes in.
Rights and log
Every change is logged with user and time, and you control permissions in the admin.
Why a Magento 2 Supplier Portal takes load off drop shipping
If goods ship straight from the supplier to the customer, or part of your range is stored externally, you know the effort: orders are exported, forwarded by email, tracking numbers come back as replies and have to be copied into the order by hand. Merchants therefore look for a Magento 2 supplier portal, a supplier login inside the shop or a way to collect tracking updates from suppliers.
The Magento 2 Supplier Portal moves this work to where it happens. The supplier sees open items, confirms the shipment and enters the tracking number. Your team sees the status in the order without asking. That saves time, avoids typing errors and makes the cooperation traceable.
Magento 2 Supplier Portal: own login and clear assignment
In the admin you create suppliers and assign products to them, either through a product attribute or through a list. Each supplier receives an account with a dedicated sign-in page. After login they see an overview of open, shipped and completed items. Customer name and delivery address appear only to the extent you allow, for example only what is needed for shipping.
- Create and block suppliers and accounts in the admin
- Assignment by product attribute or fixed product list
- Visible fields adjustable per supplier
Report tracking back directly in the Magento 2 Supplier Portal
When shipping, the supplier selects the items, enters carrier and tracking number and confirms. The portal creates a shipment for the order and stores the tracking number so that it appears in the shipping confirmation sent to the customer. Partial shipments are possible: if only part of the quantity ships, the rest stays open. Wrong entries can be corrected within a configurable period.
- Carrier and tracking number per shipment
- Partial shipments with open remaining quantity
- Correction within a configurable period
Let suppliers update stock levels themselves
Suppliers maintain the available quantity of their products in a table or upload a CSV file. The portal checks columns, SKUs and numeric values, shows errors row by row and applies the data only after confirmation. You decide whether the quantity sets the shop stock directly or lands as a proposal in an approval list. That keeps you in control even when many suppliers work at the same time.
- Table view and CSV upload with row validation
- Apply directly or approve in the admin first
- Only products of their own supplier can be changed
Settings, permissions and log for your team
Under Stores › Configuration › Mironsoft you define whether the portal is active per store view, how long sessions last and which email templates are used. Admin permissions control who may manage suppliers. The log shows which supplier changed stock or tracking and when. The interface is built with Alpine.js, without jQuery and without an additional library.
- Activation per store view, session length, email templates
- Admin permissions for supplier management and approvals
- Log with user, time and previous value
Where the Magento 2 Supplier Portal helps day to day
Typical situations in drop shipping and with external warehouses.
Drop shipping
Several manufacturers ship straight to your customers. Each sees only their items and reports the shipment themselves.
External warehouses
A logistics partner maintains stock and ships partial quantities while your team only checks the status.
Seasonal range
With the Magento 2 Supplier Portal, suppliers report availability daily by CSV at peak times, and nobody retypes lists.
Small-batch producers
Small producers without an interface get a simple browser-based access.
Magento 2 Supplier Portal compared: email and spreadsheets versus portal
The difference to coordination by email.
| Topic | Without module | With Mironsoft Supplier Portal |
|---|---|---|
| Passing on orders | Export and forwarding by email | Supplier sees their items in the portal |
| Tracking | Reply email, manual transfer | Entry in the portal, directly on the order |
| Stock | Spreadsheet as attachment | Table or CSV with validation |
| Access | All data in the mailbox | Only items of the own supplier |
| Traceability | Scattered across mailboxes | Log with user and time |

Differences to stock management, shipping modules and admin roles
Stock management in the Magento admin stays with your team; the Magento 2 Supplier Portal opens only a narrow slice of it to external partners. Shipping modules create labels for your own warehouse, whereas the portal accepts feedback from third parties.
Admin roles for employees remain unchanged. Suppliers deliberately get no admin access but their own account with minimal rights. All modules can be combined.
No download, but a personal setup
The Supplier Portal is not listed here as a ready-made download for self-installation. The purchase is an order: we contact you after the purchase, install the module in your shop and agree on assignment, visibility and email templates together with you.
