Magento 2 Proof of Delivery: prove the delivery instead of claiming it
The Magento 2 Proof of Delivery module from Mironsoft attaches a delivery photo, a signature or a delivery note to the order. The customer sees the proof in the account, your team in the admin. Uploading works from the order view or from a simple page for drivers and warehouse, also on a smartphone. The order detail view shows a section with the proof: photo as a preview, delivery date and, if present, a comment by the driver. The customer can enlarge and download the file. A guest opens the proof through the link in the notification email, valid only for their order. In the admin you decide per file whether it is visible to the customer or stays internal.

Secure storage and permissions for proof of delivery
Proofs can show faces, house numbers or vehicles. The Magento 2 Proof of Delivery therefore stores them outside the public directory and serves them only after a check: customers see only their own proofs, staff need the permission Proof of delivery. Every access and every upload appears with user and time in the log. The data protection assessment, for example regarding photos of people, lies with the shop operator.

Control retention period and notification
With the Magento 2 Proof of Delivery you decide how long proofs are kept, for example 90 days after delivery. Afterwards a cron job deletes the files and notes it in the order history. The notification to the customer is optional, with its own text per store view and the link to the proof. For orders with an open dispute the deletion can be suspended by a flag.
