Magento 2 Products Per Page: set the list length for every category
With Magento 2 products per page from Mironsoft you define the list length options per category and let customers choose their preferred number. The choice is kept while browsing and stored in the account for logged-in customers. An upper limit protects loading time. Why a fixed value for Magento 2 products per page does not suit everyone
Magento defines the list length values globally. A catalogue with large images needs different values from a table of spare parts. Grid and list view have separate values, and subcategories inherit the setting of the parent category unless you specify otherwise.

The choice is stored
When a customer selects a number, the module stores it in a cookie. Logged-in customers also get it in their account, so it applies on a smartphone as well. When the customer switches category, the number is carried over if it is allowed there. If it is not available there, the next larger allowed value applies.

The All option with an upper limit
The All option shows the entire category on one page. So that loading time does not suffer, an upper limit applies that you set in the admin. If the category exceeds that number, the display stays at the limit and paging continues the list. For search engines the canonical URL points to the default view so no duplicate content arises.

Under Stores › Configuration › Mironsoft › Page Size Options you enable the module per store view, set global values, default and upper limit and decide whether the choice is stored in the account. A separate set of values can be defined for mobile devices. The label of the selector is translatable.
