Magento 2 group order for offices, clubs and teams
Office coffee, club kit, team equipment: often several people collect wishes and in the end one orders for everyone. Usually this runs through messages, spreadsheets and retyping. The Magento 2 group order in this module moves it into the shop: a team cart is shared via an invitation link, everyone puts their products in, and one person completes the order.
The module is aimed at shops with recurring bulk orders and at B2B customers with several people allowed to order. The extension works with Hyvä and Alpine.js, uses the normal Magento checkout and stores first names only. The Magento 2 group order thus replaces the spreadsheet solution with a traceable overview.
Magento 2 group order: collect together, order once
From the office to the club: several people collect items, one person completes the order.
Invitation link
One click creates the link, which you send to the team via chat or email.
Fill it together
Participants put products from the shop into the shared cart.
Who added what?
Each item shows the first name of the person who added it, nothing more.
One buyer
One person reviews the cart, pays and receives invoice and delivery.
Configurable limits
You define the validity period of the link and the maximum number of participants.
Internal settlement
The assignment of items stays visible in the order.
Starting a Magento 2 group order: invitation link and participation
The group starts in the cart: one click creates an invitation link. Whoever opens it lands in the shop with a shared cart in the page header. Depending on the setting, participants join with a customer account or just a name. The link stays valid for the time you define in the admin, and the number of participants can be limited.
- Invitation link via share function or copy
- Participation with account or name entry selectable
- Validity period and maximum participants configurable
Shared cart in the Magento 2 group order
Participants browse the shop as usual and add products to the group cart. In the overview everyone sees items, quantities and the total price. Each item shows the first name of whoever added it. Participants can change their own items, the buyer may remove all. Stock and prices are checked live against the catalogue.
- Items with the first name of the person who added them
- Participants change only their own items, the buyer all
- Prices and availability are checked live
Completing the group order and privacy
The buyer completes the group, after which the contents are transferred into his regular Magento cart and run through the familiar checkout. The assignment of who added what remains as a note on the order items, which eases internal settlement. For privacy reasons only first names are stored, and a cron job deletes expired groups automatically.
- Transfer to the regular cart and checkout
- Item assignment as a note on the order
- First names only, automatic deletion of expired groups

Wherever several people order together but only one pays.

Wishes for a party or a gift end up in the same cart, one person takes care of payment.
Spreadsheet bulk order versus Magento 2 group order
The gain lies in less coordination and fewer errors.

Distinction from other Mironsoft modules
The Magento 2 group order is a jointly filled cart. Simply passing on a finished cart as a link is a different function in which nobody adds to it. Approval rules for orders within a company are also a topic of their own and can be combined with the group order.
Merchants who use the Magento 2 group order do not change prices, payment methods and shipping. Everything afterwards runs in the familiar Magento checkout.
No download, but personal setup
Group Order is not listed here as a ready-made download for self-installation. The purchase is a service order: after buying we contact you, set up the module and agree participation, limits and privacy texts together with you.
