Manufacturer directory
Name, brand, postal address and email are created once and assigned to many products.

Why shops should treat Magento 2 GPSR as a topic of its own
Since 13 December 2024 the EU General Product Safety Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2023/988, GPSR) applies in all member states. For distance sales it is widely read as requiring that offers show, among other things, the manufacturer, the responsible person in the EU, the product identification, warnings and safety information. Out of the box, Magento has no dedicated fields for this. Many shops paste a paragraph into the description, which becomes inconsistent across hundreds of items. Magento 2 GPSR: maintain manufacturers and EU contacts centrally
In the admin you build a manufacturer directory. Each entry holds company name, brand, postal address, email and an optional web address. If the manufacturer is based outside the EU, you link the responsible person in the EU as a second record. When an address changes you edit it in one place and every assigned product shows the new details.

Type, batch and serial number as structured product data
The regulation refers to identification by type, batch, serial number or another element that allows the product to be identified. The module creates dedicated product attributes for this. If the detail can only sit on the packaging, you store a matching note. For configurable products the simple products may carry their own batches, while manufacturer and warnings are inherited from the parent.

Warnings and safety notes per product and language
You maintain warnings as formatted text on the product or as a text block for whole categories. Every store view gets its own language version, so German shoppers read German and English shoppers read English. In addition a safety data sheet or a manual can be attached as PDF. On the product page the safety block appears directly below the buy box or as a tab, depending on your layout.
