Magento 2 Customer Documents: provide contracts and files securely in the account
With Mironsoft Customer Documents you provide Magento 2 customer documents in the customer account: contracts, quotes, certificates, invoices or price lists are uploaded to the customer in the admin, and the customer retrieves them under My Documents. The files sit protected outside the public web directory and are delivered only after the account has been checked. The interface runs with Alpine.js for Hyvä.

Especially in B2B and with products that need explanation, many files travel between shop and customer: framework contracts, price lists, safety data sheets, test certificates or trade licences. By default they go by email, with attachments that vanish in mailboxes. The My Documents area for Magento 2 customer documents
In the account an additional menu item shows the list of all files. Columns display title, type, date and validity, and a filter narrows by type. New documents are marked until the customer has opened them. Expired files remain visible but are labelled as expired. On smartphones the list turns into cards so nothing scrolls sideways.

Secure download of Magento 2 customer documents for the right account only
The files do not sit under pub/media but in a protected directory. Every download runs through a controller that checks whether the logged-in customer owns the document. Foreign IDs return an error instead of a file, and guests are redirected to the login. File names are neutralised on saving, and the module can log retrievals with a timestamp if you wish. The module does not scan file contents for malware, your server solution is the right place for that.

Notification for new files and upload by the customer
When uploading you decide whether the customer receives an email. The template can be adapted per store view and contains title and link to the account, but not the file itself. In the other direction customers may submit their own files, for example a trade registration or reseller proof. You define which types are allowed, how large files may be and whether a staff member receives a message. Submitted documents are checked in the admin and marked as reviewed.
