Magento 2 condition grading: classify used goods clearly and price them fairly
With the Magento 2 condition grading module from Mironsoft you sort used, refurbished or B-stock goods into clear classes. Each grade has a name, a description, a badge and, if you like, a fixed price logic against the new price. Customers see at a glance what to expect.
Free grades
Create A, B and C or your own labels, with color and order.
Description texts
One text per grade that explains scratches, signs of use and function clearly.
Badge and filter
Magento 2 condition grading shows the grade as a badge in the listing and as a filter in the category.
Price logic
A percentage discount on a reference price keeps the grades priced consistently.
New price comparison
Optionally the new price is shown for orientation next to the used price.
Multilingual
Names and texts are maintained per store view, including English.
Why used goods need clear grades
With used goods, the question about condition comes up immediately: are there scratches, how good is the battery, is the packaging included? A single note such as used is not enough. That is why merchants look for Magento 2 condition grading that translates condition into clear classes and displays them the same way everywhere in the shop.
Uniform grades also help internally. Whoever inspects a device assigns it to a grade, and text, badge and price gap follow from it. With Magento 2 condition grading, queries drop, returns caused by wrong expectations decline and your catalog looks professional rather than random.
Create Magento 2 condition grading levels: name, color and description per class
In the admin you maintain a list of grades. Each one has a name, a short description, a detailed text, a badge color and a sort order. The texts apply per store view, so the German and English versions are created separately. A grade can be deactivated without losing the products assigned to it.
- Any number of grades with color and order
- Short and long text per store view
- Deactivate a grade without losing assignments
Magento 2 condition grading on the product page and in the category, with filters
On the product page the badge appears next to the price, followed by the description of the grade. In the category the listing shows the badge on the product tile, and a filter lets customers narrow down to one or more grades. The display uses Alpine.js and Tailwind of the Hyvä theme and needs no additional library.
- Badge at the price and on the listing tile
- Filter by grade in category and search
- Grade text as a collapsible note
Magento 2 condition grading with price logic: discount on a reference price
For each grade you set a percentage discount on a reference price, such as the new price or a market value from an attribute. On save or import the module calculates the selling price, which you can review and override beforehand. If you prefer fixed prices, switch the automation off. Legal requirements apply to price comparisons and price indications; review by the shop owner.
- Percentage discount per grade
- Reference price from new price or attribute
- Automation can be disabled, manual prices stay intact
Assign condition grades: individually, by mass action or import
The grade is a product attribute. You assign it in the product form, by mass action in the grid or via the import file. If your inspectors work in the warehouse, one column with the grade per SKU is enough. In addition the module outputs the item condition as structured data for search engines, so used goods are labeled correctly in the results.
- Assignment in the product form, by mass action or import
- Column condition_grade in the import file
- Structured data for item condition
Where Magento 2 Condition Grading convinces in daily shop operations
Typical merchants who sell used or B-stock goods.
Refurbished electronics
With Magento 2 Condition Grading, smartphones, notebooks and consoles are inspected and graded A, B or C; the price gap follows from the grade.
B-stock from returns
Returns with packaging damage or signs of use land in a grade of their own instead of being described one by one.
Furniture and showroom items
Demo models get a grade with a text on marks and function and remain easy to find.
Specialist retail with clearance stock
Old batches and samples become visible with a clear grade, description and new price comparison.

How this differs from a simple used-product notice
A simple notice on used products, as the Mironsoft used product label module provides, only marks that an item is not new. The Magento 2 Condition Grading go further: they distinguish several classes, describe them, make them filterable and tie them to a price logic.
Both modules can be combined. The display needs no additional library and fits Hyvä and Alpine.js.
No download — personal setup instead
The Condition Grading module is not listed here as a ready-made download for self-installation. The purchase is a commission: after the purchase we get in touch, install the module in your shop and agree grades, texts and price logic with you.
