Magento 2 Accessory Finder: show only what really fits the device
With the Accessory Finder from Mironsoft, your shop shows a Magento 2 accessory finder block on the product page: cases, cables, batteries, filters or mounts that fit the device being viewed. The mapping comes from compatibility attributes such as device model, connector type or series. Customers can also select their own device and instantly learn whether an item fits. The finder runs on Alpine.js in the Hyvä theme and can be controlled per store view.
Accessories by device
The product page of a device shows a list of compatible accessories, grouped by type.
Attributes instead of manual upkeep
The mapping follows attributes such as model, connector or size, not hand-maintained links per product.
Does it fit my device?
A selector on the accessory page checks compatibility with the customer device and shows fits or does not fit.
Also the other way round
An accessory item lists the compatible devices, for example for comparison before buying.
Remember the device
The chosen device stays in the session, in the account permanently, and filters further pages.
Rules and grouping
You define the order and grouping of accessories and how many are displayed.
Why a Magento 2 accessory finder means fewer returns and more revenue
Anyone buying a device almost always needs accessories, and anyone buying accessories first asks whether they fit. Merchants therefore search for Magento 2 accessory compatibility, Magento 2 accessories by device or Magento 2 fits your device. By default Magento only offers related products and cross-sells, which are maintained by hand per product and go stale in large ranges.
A wrongly bought battery or adapter becomes a return and a support question. With a Magento 2 accessory finder built on compatibility attributes, the mapping arises where the data is maintained anyway, and the product page answers the question does it fit by itself.
Mapping with a Magento 2 accessory finder through compatibility attributes
In the admin you define which attributes determine compatibility, such as device model, connector type or series. A device carries its values, an accessory item names the values it is compatible with. The module compares both and shows hits. A new product range therefore needs no single links, only maintained attribute values. Multiple values and wildcards for whole series are possible.
- Define compatibility attributes in the admin
- Multiple values and series wildcards
- New products appear without single links
Display on the product page: Magento 2 accessory finder grouped
Below the product a block named matching accessories appears, grouped by type such as cases, chargers or spare batteries. Each group can be collapsed, and cards show image, price and direct purchase. With many hits Alpine.js loads more entries without a page reload. On smartphones the grid becomes a horizontally swipeable strip.
- Groups by accessory type, collapsible
- Cards with image, price and direct purchase
- Lazy loading for many hits, swipe strip on mobile
Device picker: Magento 2 accessory finder for the customer device
On accessory pages there is a selector called my device. The customer picks brand, series and model from the list of your devices and immediately sees a fits signal or a note that the item is not compatible, with a link to suitable alternatives. The device is stored in the session and also filters category pages; in the customer account it is kept permanently.
- Selection of brand, series, model
- Fits signal or note with alternatives
- Stored in session and customer account
Upkeep and quality: how to check the mapping of a Magento 2 accessory finder
In the admin an overview shows which accessories are assigned to no device and which devices still have no accessories. That way you find gaps in the range and missing attribute values. An import adds mappings in bulk, and a test view shows what customers see for a particular product. Please check legal or manufacturer approvals for compatibility yourself.

Where a Magento 2 accessory finder helps in everyday shop work
Typical situations in which a Magento 2 accessory finder and the question does it fit decide the purchase.
Electronics and mobile devices
Cases, screen protectors, charging cables and batteries appear to match the model the customer is looking at.
Household appliances and tools
Vacuum cleaners, coffee machines or cordless drills show filters, descalers and spare batteries of the right series.
Vehicle and bicycle accessories
Mounts, bags and lighting appear only if they fit the frame or vehicle type.
Specialist retail with a large range
Inside sales use the device picker to name the matching accessory quickly on the phone.

Scope compared to the spare parts finder
The spare parts finder from Mironsoft leads customers to the individual parts of a device, such as seals or handles, for example through parts lists. The Magento 2 accessory finder has a different goal: it complements a product with items that fit and extend it, without the customer having to search parts lists.
Both modules can be combined. The interface runs on Alpine.js in the Hyvä theme, without jQuery, Knockout or an additional library.
No download, but a personal setup
Accessory Finder is not listed here as a ready-made download for self-installation. The purchase is an order for our service: we get in touch after the purchase, install the module in your shop and set up the compatibility attributes together with you.
