Instead of buying instantly at the list price, customers collect items in a quote cart, specify quantities and optionally their own price suggestion, and submit the quote. Guests can request one too — optionally with automatic account creation, so the process stays traceable.

No, it's optional. You decide for which customer groups, categories, or products the quote path is offered in addition to or instead of instant purchase.
Can guests without a customer account request a quote too?
Yes, optionally with automatic account creation on submission, so the further process stays traceable.
Do I have to approve every quote manually?
No, smaller discounts below a threshold you set can be approved automatically. Larger deviations land in the admin for manual review.
What happens after a quote is approved?
The customer can check out at the agreed price, or the quote is converted directly into an order.
Does a quote ever expire automatically?
Yes, every quote gets a validity period. Before it expires the customer automatically receives a reminder email.
Can I hide prices completely for certain customers?
Yes, prices can be hidden entirely for specific categories, customer groups, or guests ("price on request").
Can I download and install the module myself?
