Unknown cookies surface on their own

Any newly installed extension or tracking script can set a cookie that isn't yet documented in the cookie registry. The scanner compares the cookies set in the browser during real page visits against the registry and automatically reports anything unknown to the backend — no manual auditing of the website required.

02Google Consent Mode v2

Mandatory for GA4 and Google Ads since March 2024

Without Consent Mode, sufficient Google Ads/GA4 usage can lead to data gaps or restricted features in Google accounts with EU traffic. The module sets the default consent status before the visitor has made a choice at all, and updates it automatically as soon as they confirm their selection.

Every cookie documented, every category individually controlled

The cookie registry lists every known cookie with its purpose, duration and responsible service, and is shown to the visitor as a detail overview in the preferences panel. Cookies with dynamically generated names (e.g. GA4 property cookies) can be captured with a wildcard pattern instead of maintaining every variant individually.

No download — personal setup instead

Cookie Consent is not listed here as a ready-made download file for self-installation. The purchase is a service commission: we get in touch with you after the purchase, install the module in your shop, set up categories, services and the cookie registry for the tools you actually use, and match the layout and colors to your theme.

Is the module really GDPR-compliant, legally speaking?
The module is built as an opt-in consent solution (cookies are only set after consent) and supports Google Consent Mode v2. Whether the specific configuration in your shop is fully compliant depends on the services you actually use and your privacy policy — the module does not replace a legal case-by-case review.
Do I have to use Google Consent Mode?
No, it's an optional building block that can be enabled separately. It makes sense as soon as you use Google Analytics 4 or Google Ads with EU visitors.
Can I register cookies that aren't among the 6 built-in services?
Yes. The cookie registry is independent of the 6 built-in services and accepts any cookie name or wildcard pattern with its own category, description and duration.
Does the cookie scanner send data to third parties?
No. The scanner reports found cookie names exclusively to your own Magento backend, not to Mironsoft or any external service.
Does the scanner slow down my site or generate lots of requests?
No. localStorage remembers pages and cookies already checked in the browser; a new request only happens for genuinely new, unknown cookies on a new page.
Does the banner match my theme?
Layout (box or bar) is freely selectable; colors and details are matched to your theme personally during setup, so the banner doesn't look like a foreign element.
What happens when my privacy policy changes?
Increase the consent version in the admin by 1. All previous consents become invalid, and every visitor sees the banner again on their next visit.
Does it support multiple languages or store views?
Yes. All banner and preferences texts are configurable per store view, and individual cookie registry entries can be overridden per store as well.
Can I download and install the module myself?
No. This offer is not a download product. After purchase, we personally install and configure the module in your shop.
